Personal Pronouns: he/him BA in Communication - Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman) MS in Communication in Human Relations - Texas Christian University PhD in Communication Studies - University of Kansas Dr. Self teaches courses in rhetorical theory and political communication. His research interests lie at the intersection of rhetoric, politics, and satire. He has published research on The Daily Show and presidential debate negotiation. Currently, he is the faculty advisor to , the national communication honor society, and , Truman's stand-up comedy collective.
