Online Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis

Application Requirements

To be considered for admission to the Online Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis program, a prospective student must submit:

  • Official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts, reflecting an earned baccalaureate degree from a college or university accredited by one of the six regional accrediting bodies recognized by the US Department of Education or the extra-national equivalent.
  • An undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • A personal statement (1-2 double-spaced pages describing how this degree program fits with your personal and professional goals and experiences).
  • A completed criminal background check dated within 1 year of admission.

An applicant with a bachelor’s degree granted by an institution outside the United States must include a transcript evaluation provided by a service listed on the admissions website.

Regrettably, we are unable to consider applications for fully-online programs by individuals who reside outside of the United States and its territories at this time.  International applicants are still encouraged to consider our face-to-face programs located on campus in Kirksville, Missouri.

Background Checks

All students must pass an approved background clearance as part of the admissions process. The background check must be current (within one year) when applying.
