Alumni of the 蓝莓视频 Clarinet Studio go on to do great things in music performance and education. Here is what some of our recent graduates are doing:

• Luis Viquez is the clarinet professor and director of orchestral studies at the University of Rhode Island, and former professor of clarinet and director of orchestral studies at the University of South Dakota after earning a DMA in orchestral conducting with a performers certificate in clarinet performance at UMKC
• Erin Miesner completed her MM in clarinet performance at DePaul University, won the 2017 International Clarinet Association Orchestral Excerpt Competition, and now performs with the Lake Effect Clarinet Quartet
• Lucas Willsie is the clarinet professor at the Swinney Conservatory of Music at Central Methodist University after completing a MM in clarinet performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and DMA in clarinet performance at the University of North Texas
• Brett Barger is pursuing a MM in clarinet performance at Boston University
• Harper Golden is pursuing a DMA in clarinet performance at the Florida State University
• Irene Pehanich is second clarinetist of the Quincy Symphony Orchestra in Illinois
• Karley Drabik is the band director at Osawatomie Middle School in Kansas
• Danilo Viquez-Poveda is pursuing a master’s degree in conducting at Kent State University
• Lucas Shroyer completed his MM in clarinet performance at the University of North Texas, and is now pursuing an artist diploma in clarinet from Southern Methodist University
• Autumn Heath is principal clarinetist of the Washington-Idaho Symphony Orchestra and teaches K-12 music in the Whitepine Joint School District in Idaho
• Ajdin Krdzalic is pursuing a MM in clarinet performance at the University of Nebraska
• Jessica Alvarado Brenes is teaching middle and elementary school music at Cathedral School and St. Francis Xavier in the St. Joseph Academy
• Holly Peters is pursuing a MM in clarinet performance at the Illinois State University as a graduate teaching assistant
• Maddie Luedtke is the assistant band director at Wright City High School in St. Louis
• Taylor Howard is pursuing a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she serves as a graduate teaching assistant
• Anna Manzelli is a band director at Fox and Ridgewood Middle Schools
• Alanna Benoit is pursuing a DMA in clarinet performance at Arizona State University
• Anna Graves is working towards earning a Masters in Music Therapy at the University of Iowa
• Lauren Seifried is the director of bands at Marionville High School
• Tori Tyler is pursuing a MM in musicology from Michigan State University
• Melanie Rockford is the Elementary Orchestra Teacher for Dubuque Community School District in Iowa
• Jonathon Kroeger is the director of bands at New Mark Middle School and Assistant Band Director at Staley High School
• Karmin Mazzocchi is pursuing a second masters degree in higher education administration at the University of Michigan
• Timothy Clasby is the band director at Monroe City High School
• Hannah Huddleston is pursuing a masters degree in school counseling at Missouri State University
• Brianna Mann is the assistant band director, choir director, and elementary music teacher in Green City, MO
• Abigail Sherman is the band director at Linn Middle and High School
• Jazmyn (Burnitt-Erp) Earl is the music teacher at Becky-David Elementary School in St. Charles, MO
• Taeyeong Jung earned a MM in clarinet performance at Illinois State University where he was awarded a graduate teaching assistantship, and is now pursuing his DMA in clarinet performance as a graduate assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
• Joelle (Beusterien) Judd is the band director and music teacher at the Hillcrest STEAM Academy in Belton, MO
• Christina Vaught is the music teacher at Henderson Elementary School in the Francis Howell School District
• Laura Reynolds completed her MM in clarinet performance and music education at Western Illinois University, and is now the band director at Holy Family High School in Colorado
• Emily Mehigh completed a MM in clarinet performance at Indiana University and is now a freelance musician in Chicago
• Alex Angle is the music teacher at Gateway Science Academy-South in St. Louis, MO
• Maddie (Holtzman) Watts is the music teacher and band director at All Saints Academy in Florissant, MO
• Jennifer Arcipowski is the band director at Albia High School in Albia, Iowa
• Jennifer Murray has completed a MM in clarinet performance at UMKC and is now the music teacher at New Stanley Elementary in Kansas City, teaching artist at Harmony Project KC and principal clarinetist of the Heritage Philharmonic
• Jennifer (Canfield) Berhorst is a general music and encore teacher in Jefferson City, MO
• Kelly (Walker) Reuther is the Band Director of the Lafayette County School District in Higginsville, MO, where she was selected as the Lafayette County District Teacher of the Year in 2017 and her band was selected to perform at the 2020 Missouri Music Educators Association Conference
• Kayla Smalley completed her MM in clarinet performance at the University of Central Arkansas and is a music teacher at the Blackbird Academy of Arts
• Eric Schweizer earned a master鈥檚 degree in improvisation at the University of Michigan, and now teaches a private studio and performs Eastern European traditionals and inspired originals with his band, Ornamatik
• Alyssa Blackford is the music teacher at Kratz Elementary School
• Aaron Stewart is the head band director at Lebanon High School, where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2016 and his band has performed at the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference on multiple occasions
• Jennifer Tullmann completed her master鈥檚 degree in musicology at the University of Kentucky and is now pursuing a Ph.D.
• Angela (Welker) Lachenmayr is the band director at Scott City Public Schools
• Shino Saito completed her MM in clarinet performance at Florida State University and is now a freelance musician in Japan
• Jamie Hardesty-Heil is the assistant band director at Kearney High School and performs in the Northland Symphony Orchestra
