Collegiate Farm Bureau Who We Are Chartered in 1999 as the fifth chapter in the state, the Collegiate Farm Bureau adds a new dimension to campus organizations that focus on agriculture. We provide our members with opportunities to work with local, state and national leaders in government and agriculture policy. The American Farm Bureau Federation and Missouri Farm Bureau serve as the voice in government for the men and women involved in production agriculture and agri-business. What We Do The Collegiate Farm Bureau meets once a month to conduct business. Every member can sit on one of three committees: Resolutions, Programming or Special Events. The Resolutions Committee formulates and researches a specific issue of interest to the chapter. They research the facts and varying opinions in order to prepare the final presentation given to the Missouri Farm Bureau state resolutions committee in June of each year. The Programming Committee works to bring speakers and presenters to each chapter meeting. The Special Events Committee organizes all other events including social, professional and service related activities. The chapter also meets once a month for social activities including hayrides, pizza parties and pumpkin carving.
