We’re are thrilled to extend a special invitation to our Admitted Students to welcome you to our beautiful campus to celebrate your acceptance! It is our goal to support you throughout the process by providing you with the information you need to be prepared for the Fall.ÌýThese events will provide a great opportunity to learn about next steps, connect with current students, and hear from faculty in your major. This is a great time to meet our community and ask any questions you have to make that final decision to become a Bulldog. Along with making great connections, spending a fun day on campus, and getting some free swag (of course)! Save the Date: Monday February 21, 2027 Tentative Schedule of Events The Admitted Student Event will last approximately 5-6 hours. Much of the event is a "Choose Your Own Adventure" format, but you can generally expect the following schedule: 9:45 AM - 10:30 AMCheck In 10:30 AM - 11:15 AMWelcomeÌý Receive a warm welcome and congratulations from various campus community members, including President Sue Thomas. 11:15 AM - 2:30 PMThe following events run concurrently, with attendees attending the events they want, when they want: Lunch: A complimentary lunch ticket will be provided to students and their guests to try our dining halls. Open Houses: Visit our Residence Halls, Student Recreation Center, Center for Diversity & Inclusion, and Planetarium Campus Tours: Take a short tour of campus with our Student Ambassadors. Information Sessions: Attend information sessions about our TruSelf Program, "Money Matters" Financial Aid Session, and "Becoming a Bulldog" Next Steps Session. (Session times may vary in this timeblock.) 2:30 PM - 3:30 PMDistinct By Design Academic Programming Faculty members from each academic area of study are excited to share more about their program and how it prepares students for their future! Meet your future professors, mentors, and fellow students from your intended major to learn more about the curriculum, student organizations, career support, and opportunities in your area of study. 3:30 PM - 4:00 PMTruman Talks Choose from a variety of Truman Talks to experience what it would be like to attend a class at Truman. Our faculty are excited to present a mock class on unique topics. (Optional, pre-registration recommended.) 3:00 PM - 5:00 PMAdmissions Counselor Connect & Gifts Don't leave campus with any questions! Admissions Counselors will be available for meetings.
