As an undergraduate pre-med student at Truman, you can pursue the major that鈥檚 the best fit for you. Each major available offers different strengths and variations in your approach to medicine and we encourage you to pick the major you are most passionate about. At some point you will be asked 鈥渨hy did you choose your major?鈥� and we want to make sure that you are able to explore your interests while also pursuing your future degree in medicine. Many pre-med students major in majors such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Health Science, and Exercise Science. At Truman we also have students who also major in Psychology, Sociology, Music, etc. and are able to pursue the proper prerequisites required.
You will get expert guidance from your pre-med advisor to keep you on track for medical school.
