Summer Housing Residence Life is pleased to offer summer housing for À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ students. We provide great places to stay while you further your Truman education. Summers in Kirksville are filled with fun experiences for our students, and we’re happy to be a part of that. For preferred eligibility for summer housing on campus this year, you must either: Be enrolled in a summer course, and in good financial standing with the University AND/OR Be enrolled in a fall course as a continuing student, and in good financial standing with the University. Students who are staying on campus this summer but do not have a Fall 2026 housing assignment will need to move out on Sunday, July 26, 2026. This will give housekeeping staff time to clean rooms for fall move-in. Charges will be adjusted to accommodate this checkout. You do not have to be enrolled in coursework each session to stay for each session. Taking one course during one of the sessions is enough to be eligible to stay for any and all the other sessions. Stays must also be consecutive nights (no gaps in the reservation are permitted). Students enrolled in a May or August interim course may reserve a shorter stay. You will need to list your interim course information in your housing registration so it can be verified. Location Summer students will be housed in West Campus Suites. If you are living on campus during the spring 2026 semester, you will be asked to stay in your current housing assignment until your summer housing placement is ready. You will be contacted via email with a notice of when you will be able to move into your summer housing placement. Registration To register for Summer Housing, please navigate to the Housing Portal on TruView to find “Summer Housing Application.” To secure housing, you will need to complete your application no later than Monday, May 4. Summer housing registration opens 8:00, March 2. Checking into your Summer 2026/Out of your Spring 2026 Housing Assignment After registering for summer housing and being notified of your housing placement (on May 7) you will have to check into your Summer 2026 housing placement on Thursday, May 14. Pick up your Key Pick up your room key at the Residence Life Office in Missouri Hall, RM 1100 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 14. You will be expected to complete your checkout by Friday, May 15 after you have moved all of your belongings into your summer housing assignment. You will select a time on Friday to check out of your spring room while picking up the keys to your summer room. Move-Out Information Students staying in summer housing in August will be moved to their Fall 2026 housing assignment on August 3 and 4. Any summer resident WITHOUT a Fall 2026 housing contract will be required to depart campus no later than Sunday July 26, 2026. Mail Mail will be available for pickup from the Res Life Office (Missouri Hall 1100) from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday. You will be notified when you have mail. Please have all mail addressed to the address below.
